Youth Advisory Council (YAC)
The Youth Advisory Council is a team of teen leaders who help shape the life of the parish’s youth ministry. Working alongside the Director of Formation Ministry, members share their ideas, provide feedback, and help plan events, service opportunities, prayer experiences, and faith formation activities.
Through participation on the council, youth develop leadership skills, learn to advocate for the needs and voices of their peers, and actively evangelize by inviting others into a deeper relationship with God. Members serve as role models within the parish community, fostering connection, supporting one another, and helping create a welcoming environment where all young people can grow in faith.
Grounded in the Eight Components of Youth Ministry, the Youth Advisory Council promotes advocacy, catechesis, community life, evangelization, justice and service, leadership development, pastoral care, and prayer and worship, empowering young people to live as disciples of Jesus both within the parish and beyond.
