Ever wonder who makes sure the fonts where you bless yourself as you enter the church are fresh and clean? That would be the work of a Sacristan Aide. If you would like to get involved in a liturgical ministry but prefer to work behind the scenes and need a more flexible schedule, this could be the ideal ministry opportunity. Responsibilities involve taking care of the needs of the worship space and sacristy such as keeping stock of the bread, wine and candles, light dusting, changing the entrance fonts and watering plants.
Training: Training is provided on an individual basis.
Scheduling: The time commitment is approximately one hour per week a day and time that works best for you.
