“Be sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit. Amen”

-From the Rite of Confirmation

If you are searching for a deeper relationship with God and a loving community in which to find it, you are in the right place!

We believe our program is an apprenticeship in the fullness of our Catholic faith. Youth will be encouraged to use their God-given talents to build up the church. Through service in Liturgy, parish life, and the larger community, Confirmation formation sessions, and a retreat, the candidates will have the opportunities to serve others, deepen their relationship with God, and learn more about their Catholic faith.

The following are the components of our Confirmation preparation program for high school youth:

Youth must be 16, a junior in high school, and have completed grades 9 and 10 in the GIFT program or in a Catholic high school.

Attend this year in the GIFT program.

Attend two Sponsor/Candidate events.

Participate in two confirmation conversations with a spiritual guide.

Attend the retreat. All candidates are expected to attend a weekend retreat; anyone unable to attend must participate in a similar retreat with another parish.

Meet service requirements – at least five documented experiences by the end of their junior year. Fill out your service reflection form here.

Attend weekly Mass- Regular attendance at Mass is a part of our Catholic Faith and part of the Confirmation Participation Agreement.
