Bereavement Support Group
Walking Through Grief Together is a group that Our Lady of Lourdes sponsors and meets the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month. The support group is for adults experiencing grief after the loss of a loved one due to death and/or any kind of loss. The group provides a safe and confidential setting for sharing and finding support with others who are also experiencing loss whether the loss is within the last few weeks, months, a year or a few years ago.
Lazarus Ministry for Bereavement
Volunteers minister to families grieving the loss of a loved one. Ministers pray for family members as well as contact them with a series of “Care Note” cards mailed throughout the year following the loved one’s death. This group also prepares an annual prayer service on All Souls Day to remember all the parishioners who have died in the past year and all of our deceased loved ones.

Seasons of Life a Call to Wholeness
This is a 4 week grief group that we hold several times a year. Every week we have some teaching and opportunities to share.
We encourage you to attend every session as we will cover different topics each week.
A Man’s Grief Journey
Grief is unique for a widower who has lost his beloved wife. We invite any man who is looking for some support, guidance and companionship on their grief journey.

Sisters on the Journey
A group of women, who have lost our husbands in the last year or two, have joined together to support each other.
They call themselves “Sisters on the Journey.” They gather the second Tuesday of each month for a luncheon. Together they find strength from a little prayer and being together. Occasionally they do a movie or day trip for those interested.
If this sounds good to you, they would be happy to have you with them. You are most welcome, once in a while, or every month.
